Sarsari is a small village of 645 hectares in Kekri Tehsil in Ajmer district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Sarsari depends on Ajmer, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 17.98% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Sarsari is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Sarsari's pin code is 305404[4], and village code is 02510100. The area of Sarsari is segregated as 68 hectares irrigated area, 314.96 hectares unirrigated, the 138.04 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 124 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Sarsari has One public telephone. The village is connected with a single bus service. Sarsari has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Sarsari is a census village in the district of Ajmer, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 910 and has total administration over 177 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Sarsari has 126 children, 71 boys and 55 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 74 (8.13%) males constitute 38 (4.18%) of the population and females 36 (3.96%).

The workforce is 193 male, 74 female with 193 (72.28%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 154 males and 39 females. 103 males and 24 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 6 male and 4 female agricultural labor. 74 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Ajmer to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
