Scott Ehrlich is an American executive producer for television and new media[1] currently serving as Vice President of Emerging Platform Content at Sinclair Broadcast Group.[2]
Born on May 1st in Fayetteville, North Carolina,[3] Scott studied business earning an undergraduate degree Kenyon College[4] and received a masters degree from The Graduate School of Political Management.[5]
Ehrlich's early career centered around working for Roger Ailes at Ailes Communications, with an emphasis on first run syndication properties and local newscasts. Later he was part of the turnaround team at CNBC, launch team for Americas Talking converted to MSNBC and was an early part of the senior executive team that launched the Fox News Channel[6], including overseeing the creation of foxnews.com in 1996.[7]
Ehrlich then served as Senior Vice President and Executive Producer of News America Digital Publishing, where he was responsible for editorial, production, technology and product development for News Corporations content-based digital publishing ventures, including Fox Broadcasting Company, FoxNews.com, TV Guide and foxsports.com. Ehrlich then was promoted to Senior Vice President and Executive Producer of Fox News Corporation
Ehrlich served as co-founder of QYOU Media[8][9] where he developed and launched a new over the air network, TBD (TV network)|TBD,[10] and served as its Chief Executive Officer until March 2017. Ehrlich also founded Agility Studios where he oversaw development and production of web series such as The Legion of Extraordinary Dancers[11] and the "Two Bellman" series for Marriott International.
Scott currently works as the Vice President of Emerging Platform Content[12] at Sinclair Broadcast Group,[13] as a figure in leading the growth and development of streaming platform Stirr|STIRR, and TV networks Comet (TV network)|Comet and Charge! (TV network)|Charge.[14]
