Sean Murphy is a private investor, an entrepreneur, and the CEO of Procurri Corporation Limited, a global maintenance, hardware supply, and sustainable IT consulting firm based in Singapore.[1][2] He has more than 30 years of experience in the IT industry and is responsible for the strategic planning and overall management of the Group.[3]
Murphy has won several accolades, including the Entrepreneurial Success Award by the US Government and the Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce’s Pinnacle Small Business Person of the Year Award.[4]
Sean graduated from Emory University in Georgia with a degree in Economics.
Murphy began his career in technology sales and became a company Vice President at Sun Data Systems as his first major senior role. In 1998, Sean, together with three partners, launched Canvas Systems, one of the world’s largest independent resellers of pre-owned enterprise computer systems, with offices in the US, UK, and Netherlands. The company was later acquired by Avnet Technology Solutions in 2012.[5]
Murphy continued his entrepreneurial journey, he co-founded Optimus Solutions in 2001, which was later sold to Softchoice Corporation in 2008. He later co-founded Corus360, which he sold off to Converge Technology Partners in 2017. Murphy has more than 30 years of experience in the IT industry and is currently responsible for the strategic planning and overall management of the Procurri Group, which has an extensive reach in more than 100+ countries.[6]
Murphy lives in Duluth, Georgia, with his wife and four children. The Atlanta Braves and Atlanta Falcons are two of his favourite teams.
