Seehi is a small village of 428 hectares in Kumher Tehsil in Bharatpur district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Seehi depends on Kumher, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Seehi is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Seehi's pin code is 321602[4], and village code is 01032200. The area of Seehi is segregated as 247.9 hectares irrigated area, 150.5 hectares unirrigated, the 9.1 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 20.41 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Seehi has One post office (Sihi B.O) and One public telephone. Seehi has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Demographics[edit]

Seehi is a census village in the district of Bharatpur, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1597 and has total administration over 278 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Seehi has 221 children, 125 boys and 96 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 293 (18.35%) males constitute 149 (9.33%) of the population and females 144 (9.02%).

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Kumher and Bharatpur to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
