Seel is a small village of 667 hectares in Kishangarh Tehsil in Ajmer district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Seel depends on Kishangarh, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 35.00% of the total supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Seel is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Seel's pin code is 305813[4], and village code is 02498300. The area of Seel is segregated as 116 hectares irrigated area, 382 hectares unirrigated, the 121 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 48 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Seel has Three public telephones. The village is connected with a single bus service. Seel has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

Seel is a census village in the district of Ajmer, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1681 and has total administration over 261 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Seel has 258 children, 132 boys and 126 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 285 (16.95%) males constitute 144 (8.57%) of the population and females 141 (8.39%).

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Kishangarh and Ajmer to sell wood furniture and make their living.
