Seel Gaon is a small village of 1236 hectares in Mandawar Tehsil in Alwar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Seel Gaon depends on KHAIRTHAL, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 219.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Seel Gaon is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Seel Gaon's pin code is 301401[4], and village code is 00774400. The area of Seel Gaon is segregated as 719 hectares irrigated area, 31 hectares unirrigated, the 137 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 349 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Seel Gaon is a census village in the district of Alwar, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 2637 and has total administration over 441 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of KHAIRTHAL and Alwar to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
