Seemli is a small village of 798 hectares in Baran Tehsil in Baran district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Seemli depends on Baran, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, One tank, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Seemli is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tubewell. Seemli's pin code is 325222[4], and village code is 03870400. The area of Seemli is segregated as 660.64 hectares irrigated area, 28.68 hectares unirrigated, the 63.08 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 46 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Seemli has One post office (Simli B.O) and One public telephone. The village is connected with a single bus service. Seemli has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Seemli is a census village in the district of Baran, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1191 and has total administration over 217 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Seemli has 149 children, 76 boys and 73 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 272 (22.84%) males constitute 137 (11.50%) of the population and females 135 (11.34%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 232 (19.48%) males constitute 125 (10.50%) of the population and females 107 (8.98%).

The workforce is 342 male, 308 female with 364 (56.0%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 247 males and 117 females. 153 males and 68 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 47 male and 35 female agricultural labor. 286 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Baran to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
