Segari is a small village of 1059 hectares in Barmer Tehsil in Barmer district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Segari depends on BARMER, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Segari is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Segari's pin code is 344012[4], and village code is 02218800. The area of Segari is segregated as 965.69 hectares unirrigated, remaining 38.78 hectare area not available for cultivation.

The village is connected with a single bus service. Segari has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Segari is a census village in the district of Barmer, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1130 and has total administration over 192 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Segari has 222 children, 104 boys and 118 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 252 (22.30%) males constitute 139 (12.30%) of the population and females 113 (10.0%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 13 (1.15%) males constitute 11 (0.97%) of the population and females 2 (0.18%).

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Barmer to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
