Segawa is a small village of 254 hectares in Chittaurgarh Tehsil in Chittorgarh district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Segawa depends on Chittaurgarh, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Segawa is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Segawa's pin code is 312001[4], and village code is 03607500. The area of Segawa is segregated as 51.87 hectares irrigated area, 114.71 hectares unirrigated, the 67.6 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 19.97 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Segawa is a census village in the district of Chittorgarh, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1133 and has total administration over 248 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Scheduled caste counts for 47 (4.15%) males constitute 22 (1.94%) of the population and females 25 (2.21%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 74 (6.53%) males constitute 42 (3.71%) of the population and females 32 (2.82%).

The workforce is 318 male, 127 female with 427 (95.96%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 310 males and 117 females. 81 males and 67 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 26 male and 32 female agricultural labor. 18 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Chittaurgarh and Chittorgarh to sell ghee and make their living.
