Semaliya is a small village of 297 hectares in Nimbahera Tehsil in Chittorgarh district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Semaliya depends on Begun, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 8.22% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Semaliya is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Semaliya's pin code is 312601[4], and village code is 03568000. The area of Semaliya is segregated as 75.77 hectares irrigated area, 45.9 hectares unirrigated, the 69.42 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 18.94 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Semaliya is a census village in the district of Chittorgarh, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 531 and has total administration over 112 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Scheduled caste counts for 154 (29.0%) males constitute 81 (15.25%) of the population and females 73 (13.75%).

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Begun and Chittorgarh to sell ghee and make their living.
