Senani is a small village of 2015 hectares in Nagaur Tehsil in Nagaur district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Senani depends on Mundwa, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, Two Wells supply, One tank, One tubewell, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Senani is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tubewell. Senani's pin code is 342902[4], and village code is 01815900. The area of Senani is segregated as 26.08 hectares irrigated area, 1461.07 hectares unirrigated, the 65.09 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 463.1 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Senani has One post office (Senani B.O). Senani has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Senani is a census village in the district of Nagaur, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 3222 and has total administration over 694 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Senani has 526 children, 279 boys and 247 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 1094 (33.95%) males constitute 560 (17.38%) of the population and females 534 (16.57%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 9 (0.28%) males constitute 5 (0.16%) of the population and females 4 (0.12%).

The workforce is 826 male, 751 female with 1471 (93.28%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 770 males and 701 females. 605 males and 603 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 24 male and 42 female agricultural labor. 106 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Mundwa and Nagaur to sell earthen pots and make their living.
