Seriya is a small village of 1158 hectares in Salumbar Tehsil in UDAIPUR district in the state of RAJASTHAN, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Seriya depends on Salumbar, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Seriya is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Seriya's pin code is 313027[4], and village code is 03234500. The area of Seriya is segregated as 205 hectares irrigated area, 296 hectares unirrigated, the 470 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 29 hectare area not available for cultivation.
Seriya has One post office (Seria B.O) and Eleven public telephones. The village is connected with a single bus service. Seriya has One bank, One credit society and One agricultural credit society for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

Seriya is a census village in the district of UDAIPUR, RAJASTHAN. The village has a total population of 2817 and has total administration over 698 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.
- Seriya has 342 children, 172 boys and 170 girls.
- Scheduled caste counts for 149 (5.29%) males constitute 78 (2.77%) of the population and females 71 (2.52%).
- Scheduled tribe counts for 720 (25.56%) males constitute 376 (13.35%) of the population and females 344 (12.21%).

Employment[edit]
According to a census 2011 report, 1325 people of the total population are employed. The workforce is 804 male, 521 female with 621 (46.87%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 559 males and 62 females. 213 males and 23 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 19 male and 14 female agricultural labor. 704 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.
They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Salumbar and UDAIPUR to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
