Sewari is a small village of 3789 hectares in Bali Tehsil in Pali district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Sewari depends on Bali, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 618.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Sewari is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Sewari's pin code is 306707[4], and village code is 02477800. The area of Sewari is segregated as 1048 hectares irrigated area, 1275 hectares unirrigated, the 275 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 715.1 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Sewari has One post office (Sewari S.O) and Two Hundred Sixty Two public telephones. The village is connected with a single bus service. Sewari has One bank, One credit society and One agricultural credit society for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Sewari is a census village in the district of Pali, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 9415 and has total administration over 1961 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Sewari has 1259 children, 667 boys and 592 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 1693 (17.98%) males constitute 817 (8.68%) of the population and females 876 (9.30%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 1893 (20.11%) males constitute 978 (10.39%) of the population and females 915 (9.72%).

The workforce is 2283 male, 1604 female with 2203 (56.68%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 1740 males and 463 females. 515 males and 164 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 169 male and 53 female agricultural labor. 1684 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Bali and Pali to sell bricks and make their living.
