Shadi is a small village of 825 hectares in Gangrar Tehsil in Chittorgarh district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Shadi depends on Bhilwara, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 10.03% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Shadi is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Shadi's pin code is 312901[4], and village code is 03536000. The area of Shadi is segregated as 16.86 hectares irrigated area, 151.26 hectares unirrigated, the 614.39 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 42.18 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Shadi has One post office (Sadi B.O). Shadi has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Shadi is a census village in the district of Chittorgarh, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1220 and has total administration over 217 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Shadi has 184 children, 89 boys and 95 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 32 (2.62%) males constitute 17 (1.39%) of the population and females 15 (1.23%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 10 (0.82%) males constitute 3 (0.25%) of the population and females 7 (0.57%).

The workforce is 354 male, 229 female with 521 (89.37%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 349 males and 172 females. 246 males and 161 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 3 female agricultural labor. 62 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Bhilwara and Chittorgarh to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
