Shimli is a small village of 159 hectares in Neem-Ka-Thana Tehsil in Sikar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Shimli depends on Neem ka Thana, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 39.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Shimli is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Shimli's pin code is 332718[4], and village code is 01746600. The area of Shimli is segregated as 54.19 hectares irrigated area, 60 hectares unirrigated, the 5.2 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 27.15 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Shimli is a census village in the district of Sikar, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 812 and has total administration over 146 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

- Scheduled tribe counts for 58 (7.14%) males constitute 28 (3.45%) of the population and females 30 (3.69%).

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Neem ka Thana and Sikar to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
