Shivpura is a small village of 1084 hectares in Masuda Tehsil in Ajmer district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Shivpura depends on Beawar, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 3.70% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Shivpura is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Shivpura's pin code is 305623[4], and village code is 02512100. The area of Shivpura is segregated as 46.03 hectares irrigated area, 197.12 hectares unirrigated, the 470.37 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 370 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Shivpura has One public telephone. The village is connected with a single bus service. Shivpura has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

Shivpura is a census village in the district of Ajmer, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1833 and has total administration over 365 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Shivpura has 372 children, 210 boys and 162 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 142 (7.75%) males constitute 61 (3.33%) of the population and females 81 (4.42%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 2 (0.11%) males constitute 1 (0.05%) of the population and females 1 (0.05%).

The workforce is 458 male, 303 female with 680 (89.36%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 439 males and 241 females. 314 males and 208 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 1 male and 9 female agricultural labor. 81 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Beawar and Ajmer to sell ghee and make their living.
