Shogarh is a small village of 390 hectares in Rawatbhata Tehsil in Chittorgarh district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Shogarh depends on Rawatbhata, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 17.17% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Shogarh is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Shogarh's pin code is 323306[4], and village code is 03590800. The area of Shogarh is segregated as 67.97 hectares irrigated area, 112.71 hectares unirrigated, the 49.09 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 20 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Shogarh has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Shogarh is a census village in the district of Chittorgarh, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 662 and has total administration over 147 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Shogarh has 98 children, 50 boys and 48 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 8 (1.21%) males constitute 5 (0.76%) of the population and females 3 (0.45%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 297 (44.86%) males constitute 154 (23.26%) of the population and females 143 (21.60%).

The workforce is 196 male, 194 female with 161 (41.28%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 140 males and 21 females. 60 males and 2 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 74 male and 19 female agricultural labor. 229 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Rawatbhata and Chittorgarh to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
