Shyopur is a small village of 235 hectares in Jhalrapatan Tehsil in Jhalawar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Shyopur depends on Jhalrapatan, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Shyopur is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Shyopur's pin code is 326023[4], and village code is 04009400. The area of Shyopur is segregated as 57.84 hectares irrigated area, 90.47 hectares unirrigated, the 57.89 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 26.53 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Shyopur is a census village in the district of Jhalawar, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 415 and has total administration over 87 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Scheduled caste counts for 225 (54.22%) males constitute 108 (26.02%) of the population and females 117 (28.19%).

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Jhalrapatan and Jhalawar to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
