Sihani is a small village of 1919 hectares in Ramsar Tehsil in Barmer district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Sihani depends on BARMER, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Sihani is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Sihani's pin code is 344001[4], and village code is 02228300. The area of Sihani is segregated as 0.02 hectares irrigated area, 1395.83 hectares unirrigated, the 101.2 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 248.69 hectare area not available for cultivation.
Sihani has One post office (Sinyani B.O) and One public telephone. The village is connected with a single bus service. Sihani has One bank and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.
The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Sihani is a census village in the district of Barmer, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 2547 and has total administration over 472 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.
- Sihani has 520 children, 278 boys and 242 girls.
- Scheduled caste counts for 1395 (54.77%) males constitute 743 (29.17%) of the population and females 652 (25.60%).
- Scheduled tribe counts for 5 (0.20%) males constitute 2 (0.08%) of the population and females 3 (0.12%).

Employment[edit]
According to a census 2011 report, 1060 people of the total population are employed. The workforce is 638 male, 422 female with 745 (70.28%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 560 males and 185 females. 157 males and 56 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 2 female agricultural labor. 315 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.
They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Barmer to sell earthen pot and make their living.
