Sikharan is a small village of 240.5 hectares in Koil Tehsil in Aligarh district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Sikharan depends on Aligarh (M Corp, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Sikharan's pin code is 202140[4], and village code is 01353400. The area of Sikharan is segregated as 228.05 hectares irrigated area, 1.26 hectares unirrigated area. the 6.98 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 4.25 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Sikharan has One post office (Shikharan B.O). Sikharan has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Sikharan is a census village in the district of Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh. The village has a total population of 1124 and has total administration over 198 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Scheduled caste counts for 115 (10.23%) males constitute 64 (5.69%) of the population and females 51 (4.54%).

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Aligarh (M Corp and Aligarh to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
