Sikrai Doongar is a small village of 423 hectares in Sikrai Tehsil in Dausa district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Sikrai Doongar depends on Bandikui, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Sikrai Doongar is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Sikrai Doongar's pin code is 303508[4], and village code is 01385800. The area of Sikrai Doongar is segregated as 230 hectares irrigated area, 50 hectares unirrigated, the 80 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 36.9 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Sikrai Doongar has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Sikrai Doongar is a census village in the district of Dausa, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 2493 and has total administration over 477 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Scheduled caste counts for 1831 (73.45%) males constitute 968 (38.83%) of the population and females 863 (34.62%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 4 (0.16%) males constitute 3 (0.12%) of the population and females 1 (0.04%).

The workforce is 639 male, 429 female with 834 (78.09%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 536 males and 298 females. 325 males and 209 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 18 male and 67 female agricultural labor. 234 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Bandikui and Dausa to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
