Siridao is a small village of 772 hectares in Tiswadi Tehsil in North Goa district, known and rated to have the best quality of life in India (based on the commission’s “12 Indicators”)[2] in the state of Goa, India.[3] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Siridao depends on GOA VELHA, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[4] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Siridao is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Siridao's pin code is 403108[5], and village code is 00008200. The area of Siridao is segregated as 2.13 hectares irrigated area, 160.71 hectares unirrigated, the 2.74 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 606.08 hectare area not available for cultivation.

The workforce is 561 male, 306 female with 676 (77.97%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 467 males and 209 females. 40 males and 29 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 8 male and 5 female agricultural labor. 191 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.
They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of GOA VELHA and North Goa to sell ice and make their living.
