Sirohi is a small village of 2243 hectares in Neem-Ka-Thana Tehsil in Sikar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Sirohi depends on Neem ka Thana, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 541.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Sirohi is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Sirohi's pin code is 332719[4], and village code is 01743700. The area of Sirohi is segregated as 541 hectares irrigated area, 844 hectares unirrigated, the 307 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 551 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Sirohi has One post office (Sihori B.O) and Twenty Five public telephones. The village is connected with a single bus service. Sirohi has One bank, One credit society and One agricultural credit society for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Sirohi is a census village in the district of Sikar, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 12608 and has total administration over 2073 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Sirohi has 1721 children, 942 boys and 779 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 1593 (12.63%) males constitute 831 (6.59%) of the population and females 762 (6.04%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 314 (2.49%) males constitute 156 (1.24%) of the population and females 158 (1.25%).

According to a census 2011 report, 4124 people of the total population are employed. The workforce is 2915 male, 1209 female with 3066 (74.35%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 2442 males and 624 females. 830 males and 461 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 23 male and 19 female agricultural labor. 1058 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Neem ka Thana and Sikar to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
