Sirrom (born Alexander Morris on October 7, 1992)[1] is an Americanrapper, music artist, videographer, and entrepreneur. He gained recognition with his debut single "Big Ole Hater" in 2020, which showcased his resilient spirit and powerful storytelling. Throughout his career, Sirrom has released a diverse collection of songs, including notable tracks like "Big Ole Hater" (2020), "Time" (2021), "They Copy" (2021), "What I Said" (2021),[2] "Diablo" (2021), "Get The Message" (2022), "The Goats" (2022), "Bounce" (2022), "Who is Sirrom" (2022), "Bad Chick" (2023), and many others.[3][4]
In addition to his musical endeavors, Sirrom is the founder of "The Visual Goat," a renowned global videography brand, as well as "Young Goat Enterprise," an independent music label.[5][6] With his music available on popular platforms such as Spotify, Apple Music, and YouTube,[7][8] Sirrom actively engages with his fans through social media, providing regular updates on his latest releases,[9] shows,[10] and other news.[11][12]
Sirrom was born on October 7, 1992, in Birmingham, Alabama. He grew up in Clanton, Alabama, where he attended Chilton County High School. After graduating, he furthered his education at Jefferson State Community College. During his formative years, Sirrom discovered his love for music as a means of coping with the challenges resulting from his parent's separation.[13]
At 14, Sirrom began writing lyrics and expressing himself through music. However, various setbacks temporarily diverted his attention from his passion.[14] At 16, he had to get a job to support his mother, and shortly after, his mother was diagnosed with cancer and passed away.[15] These personal hardships compelled Sirrom to put his musical aspirations on hold while he focused on practical matters.[16][17]
In 2020, with improved circumstances, Sirrom returned to music and released his debut single, "Big Ole Hater."[18][19] The track exemplifies his growth as an artist and delivers a message of perseverance in the face of adversity.[20] The track resonated with audiences, accumulating over 500,000 streams on various music distribution platforms.[21] Over the years, Sirrom has released over 20 singles and a debut album "2mins or less" in 2022, which paid tribute to hip-hop culture through seven impactful tracks. The EP includes hit songs such as "Banger," "First 48," "Checks," "Tawk to Em," "The Plan," "Free Smoke," and "Me vs. Me."[22][23]
Throughout his career, Sirrom has collaborated with various artists,[24] including Mpr Riche Rich, 90Rackss, WillGotTheJuice, QuezzyQuae, Sickwitit, Dubbygotbars, and others.[25] He has upcoming collaborations with artists like Lausane, Fatt Macc, Scout, PNF Rockie, Yayo Da Don, Biggie Bluw, KrazyMann, Chef Trez, PBE Pluto, and more.[26][27]
He established "The Visual Goat," a global brand known for its videography that has supported and promoted numerous indie and mainstream artists.[28][29] Sirrom also operates his record label called Young Goat Enterprise and collaborates with various artists within the industry,[30] shooting music videos and expanding his artistic endeavors.[31][32]
