Smruthi Venkat is an Indian actress who appears predominantly in Tamil films. She debuted in the critically and commercially successful 2018 Tamil film Thadam with Arun Vijay.[1]

Career[edit]

Smruthi Venkat appeared in Thadam, alongsideArun Vijay. The movie opened to great reviews commercially and critically. The News Minute's critic wrote, "Smruthi have limited screen space but manage to leave an impression with their competent performances.[2] After Thadam, she signed yet another Tamil film with Sathyaraj titled Theerpugal Virkapadum, which is ready for release.[3] Meanwhile she was roped in to play an important role in Mookuthi Amman where she pleasantly surprised the audience and critics with her performance. [4] Post success of Mookuthi Amman, Smruthi Venkat went to bag a role in Dhanush's 43rd film directed by Karthick Naren. [5] Apart from films, Smruthi Venkat has done many commercial advertisements such as Levista (coffee), Kalyan Jewellers and Tanishq
