Sobri is a small village of 937 hectares in Bhinay Tehsil in Ajmer district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Sobri depends on Vijainagar, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 19.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Sobri is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Sobri's pin code is 305622[4], and village code is 02561100. The area of Sobri is segregated as 200 hectares irrigated area, 275 hectares unirrigated, the 245 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 217 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Vijainagar and Ajmer to sell ghee and make their living.
