Sonela is a small village of 184 hectares in Reodar Tehsil in Sirohi district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Sonela depends on ABU ROAD, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Sonela is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Sonela's pin code is 307514[4], and village code is 02384000. The area of Sonela is segregated as 73 hectares irrigated area, 24 hectares unirrigated, the 61 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 26 hectare area not available for cultivation.
Sonela has Seven public telephones. The village is connected with a single bus service. Sonela has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

Sonela is a census village in the district of Sirohi, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 542 and has total administration over 1063 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

- Scheduled caste counts for 14 (2.58%) males constitute 20 (3.69%) of the population and females 415 (76.57%).
- Scheduled tribe counts for 211 (38.93%) males constitute 204 (37.64%) of the population and females 543 (100.18%).

The workforce is 216 male, 318 female with 264 (93.62%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 54 males and 114 females. 4 males and 76 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 43 males. 18 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.
They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of ABU ROAD and Sirohi to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
