Stemin is a Swiss-Italian singer, songwriter, and producer currently based in Amsterdam.[1] He rose to popularity with the release of his debut studio length album #tellyourheart, and is best known for his songs Lucky Star, Love Never Felt So Right, Comets, and Keep Up The Dream. Stemin is a contemporary music artist who is highly acclaimed for his blend of electronic, soul, R&B, and futurist elements in his songs. He's become known for his use of vivid make-up and gleaming silhouettes to create a one-of-a-kind visual spectacular. He's also known for his outspoken support for LGBTQIA+ and at-risk youth.[2]

Early life and education[edit]

Stemin was raised in Italy after being born in Thun, Switzerland, to a Swiss father and a German mother. From a young age, he studied classical and jazz music, specializing in singing, songwriting, and performance.

Stemin went on to Saint Louis College of Music in Rome, where he earned a bachelor's degree in jazz voice with a minor in jazz piano. In addition, he also received a Master of Arts degree in composition and performing at Groningen's Prince Claus Conservatoire.

Career[edit]

Stemin released his debut studio album titled #tellyourheart in 2020. The album was recorded in the Netherlands and produced by the UK-Australian music producer and composer Nick Thayer.[3] In the same year, he released another EP Live at FunnyBones Studios: which was a live version of four tracks taken from the #tellyourheart album. This EP was recorded and produced in the Netherlands.[4]

In 2022, Stemin released Unspoken Dreams, [5] another full-length album that is now available on all streaming platforms.
