Talab is a small village of 1555 hectares in Rajgarh Tehsil in Alwar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Talab depends on RAJGARH, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, One tank, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river, One canal and Two springs. Talab is also near by One lake. They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of RAJGARH and Alwar to sell wood furniture and make their living.
