Tali is a small village of 1950 hectares in Karauli Tehsil in Karauli district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Tali depends on HINDAUN, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Tali is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Tali's pin code is 322252[4], and village code is 01226400. The area of Tali is segregated as 27.56 hectares irrigated area, 149.4 hectares unirrigated, the 174.74 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 246.33 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Tali has One post office (Tali B.O). Tali has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Demographics[edit]

Tali is a census village in the district of Karauli, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 875 and has total administration over 135 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Tali has 178 children, 105 boys and 73 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 52 (5.94%) males constitute 30 (3.43%) of the population and females 22 (2.51%).

Employment[edit]

According to a census 2011 report, 435 people of the total population are employed. The workforce is 256 male, 179 female with 326 (74.94%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 208 males and 118 females. 146 males and 101 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 13 male and 13 female agricultural labor. 109 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of HINDAUN and Karauli to sell ghee and make their living.
