Taskola is a small village of 387 hectares in Kotputli Tehsil in Jaipur district, also known as the Pink City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Taskola depends on Kotputli, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 150.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Taskola is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Taskola's pin code is 303106[4], and village code is 01451900. The area of Taskola is segregated as 201 hectares irrigated area, 57 hectares unirrigated, the 42 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 87 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Taskola is a census village in the district of Jaipur, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 4224 and has total administration over 683 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

- Scheduled caste counts for 673 (15.93%) males constitute 344 (8.14%) of the population and females 329 (7.79%).

Employment[edit]
According to a census 2011 report, 1975 people of the total population are employed. The workforce is 1114 male, 861 female with 943 (47.75%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 642 males and 301 females. 245 males and 243 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 49 male and 12 female agricultural labor. 1032 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.
They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Kotputli and Jaipur to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
