Tatarpur is a small village of 1676 hectares in Tijara Tehsil in Alwar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Tatarpur depends on KHAIRTHAL, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Tatarpur is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Tatarpur's pin code is 301018[4], and village code is 00783400. The area of Tatarpur is segregated as 626 hectares irrigated area, 560 hectares unirrigated, the 90 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 100 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Tatarpur is a census village in the district of Alwar, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 7171 and has total administration over 1269 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

The workforce is 1771 male, 1180 female with 2518 (85.33%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 1578 males and 940 females. 907 males and 852 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 52 male and 24 female agricultural labor. 433 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.
They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of KHAIRTHAL and Alwar to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
