Tatra is a small village of 763 hectares in Sanchore Tehsil in Jalor district, also known as Granite City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Tatra depends on SANCHORE, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 7.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river, Two canals and Two springs. Tatra is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Tatra's pin code is 343040[4], and village code is 02320100. The area of Tatra is segregated as 402 hectares irrigated area, 313 hectares unirrigated, the 46 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 2 hectare area not available for cultivation.
Tatra has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.
The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Tatra is a census village in the district of Jalor, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1260 and has total administration over 212 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.
- Tatra has 241 children, 136 boys and 105 girls.
- Scheduled caste counts for 96 (7.62%) males constitute 55 (4.37%) of the population and females 41 (3.25%).
- Scheduled tribe counts for 159 (12.62%) males constitute 79 (6.27%) of the population and females 80 (6.35%).

According to a census 2011 report, 684 people of the total population are employed. The workforce is 357 male, 327 female with 437 (63.89%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 320 males and 117 females. 253 males and 89 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 48 male and 14 female agricultural labor. 247 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.
They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of SANCHORE and Jalor to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
