Ch. Vittal (Patel) is one of the top 5 activists in Telangana Movement for the creation of Telangana State. Popularly known as Telangana Vittal. He was led by several popular and successful protests like "Sakala Janula Samme", "Million March", "Sagara Haram" and more for the formation of Telangana State.

Associated with the Telangana movement since 1996 till formation of state June 2nd 2014. Closely associated with Professor Jayashankar, Sri Konda Laxman Bapuji and Prof. Kodandaram and Other Popular leaders for Telangana movement. He was associated with RSS (Sangh Parivar) since childhood and upto 12th Grade.

Who is Telangana Vittal?[edit]

Former Member of Telangana State Public Service Commission. He is former founder President of Telangana Employees Association and continued till 17-12-2014. Popular Telangana Activist served as co-chairman of JAC (Telanagan Joint Action Committee) forTelangana Statehood. Soft spoken and Political Anlyst. Participated various big debates not only Public but also various Leading TV channels.

BACKGROUND:[edit]

Born in a remote village of Ranga Reddy District in a small agricultural family. Age 55 yrs ( original date of birth is 27th May 1966, as per records 29th June 1964) Studied Primary and Secondary Education in Social Welfare Hostel with the support of Scholarship. At High School Level participated in several R.S.S activities.

  • Appointed and served 6 Years as Member of TSPSC a Constitutional body established under Article 315 of the Constitution of India. Sucessfully completed his term recently.
  • Founder President of Telangana Employees Association.
  • Secretary General & Co-Chairman of Telangana Employees Joint Action Committee.
  • Chairman of Matrubhoomi Foundation which serves needy people all over India since a decade. He actively served many people in lockdown situation.
  • Worked as Secretary, Law College Student Union, Osmania University, Hyderabad. Commenced career as a Journalist with a brief stint in a popular Telugu Daily in1987.
  • Worked as Degree College Lecturer in commerce (Asst. Professor) in Sri Ramachandra Degree College (Aided Institution), Hyderabad for4 years (1988-1991 ).
  • Selected in Group-II services Recruitment from APPSC and joined State Government

  • Since 1996 onwards participated in the agitation for separate Telangana State and organized several programs, seminars and meetings with intellectuals, employees and officials of Telangana.
  • As an Employees Leader, advocated strict implementation and adherence to the provisions of Presidential Order, 1975.
  • In the year 2001, unanimously elected as State President of Telangana Employees Association and continued till 17-12-2014.
  • Represented various issues of local employment before Girglani Committee, House Committee of State Assembly and Officers Committee headed by Chief Secretary during 2001-2008.
  • Played a pivotal role in the formation of Telangana Employees joint Action Committee and acted as its Chairman/Secretary General and made remarkable contribution in unifying all Employees Associations for the cause ofTelangana Statehood.
  • Actively led the historical Telangana Movement of Peaceful non-co-operation and Sakala Janula Samme (People's strike), which paved way for formation of Telangana State on 2nd June, 2014.

  • Unanimously elected as Sarpanch of the native village in 1987 at a tender age of 21 years, when he was a student and resigned after one year.
  • In his one year tenure as Sarpanch, took up several development initiatives in the Village and made special efforts for construction of road (5 kms) establishments of Schools, Houses for poor, Drinking Water facility with the involvement and active participation of people without any support from Government during the year 1988.
  • Acted at Founder General Secretary of Telangana Intellectuals Forum during 2004.
  • In 2009, acted as a Member of Anti-Suicides Awareness Committee and guided, counselled and motivated several students to prevent the suicides, during Telangana Movement.
  • Published several articles in newspapers on social issues.
  • As an Analyst participated in several live debates in TV channels.

Among Telangana employees and people at large, known to be a man of simplicity, honesty, and integrity with dedication and spirit for social service.
