Thana is a small village of 1294 hectares in Mandal Tehsil in Bhilwara district, also known as the Textile City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Thana depends on Deogarh, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 6.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Thana is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Thana's pin code is 311804[4], and village code is 02833200. The area of Thana is segregated as 124 hectares irrigated area, 379 hectares unirrigated, the 575.2 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 189 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Thana is a census village in the district of Bhilwara, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1172 and has total administration over 277 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

The workforce is 269 male, 301 female with 519 (91.05%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 249 males and 270 females. 73 males and 29 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 153 male and 233 female agricultural labor. 51 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.
They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Deogarh and Bhilwara to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
