The Times of India

The Times of India (TOI) is an Indian English-language daily newspaper and digital news media outlet owned and operated by The Times Group. It is the third-largest newspaper in India in terms of circulation and the best-selling English-language daily in the world, according to the Times of India. This newspaper, which originally appeared in 1838 and continues to be published today, is the oldest English-language daily in India as well as the second-oldest Indian newspaper currently in circulation. It is referred to as "The Old Lady of Bori Bunder" and is considered an Indian "newspaper of historical significance."

A major newspaper in Asia was described by Viceroy of India Lord Curzon at the beginning of the twentieth century as "the leading publication in Asia" by The Times of India. The Times of India was named one of the world's six finest newspapers by the BBC in 1991.

Bennett, Coleman & Co. Ltd. (B.C.C.L.) is the company that owns and publishes it, and it is controlled by the Sahu Jain family. In a poll conducted by Reuters, The Times of India was ranked as India's most trusted media news brand.
