Thedi is a small village of 1127 hectares in Fatehpur Tehsil in Sikar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Thedi depends on fatehpur, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 6.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Thedi is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Thedi's pin code is 331024[4], and village code is 01663500. The area of Thedi is segregated as 6 hectares irrigated area, 1025 hectares unirrigated, the 69 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 27 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Thedi has One post office (Thedi B.O) and Fifteen public telephones. The village is connected with a single bus service. Thedi has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

Thedi is a census village in the district of Sikar, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 2349 and has total administration over 438 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Thedi has 372 children, 207 boys and 165 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 469 (19.97%) males constitute 220 (9.37%) of the population and females 249 (10.60%).

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of fatehpur and Sikar to sell ghee and make their living.
