Tigadda is a small village of 192 hectares in Baswa Tehsil in Dausa district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Tigadda depends on Bandikui, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 52.50% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Tigadda is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Tigadda's pin code is 303325[4], and village code is 01345100. The area of Tigadda is segregated as 52.5 hectares irrigated area, 108.67 hectares unirrigated, the 26.96 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 3.68 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Tigadda is a census village in the district of Dausa, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1250 and has total administration over 250 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Tigadda has 179 children, 96 boys and 83 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 931 (74.48%) males constitute 481 (38.48%) of the population and females 450 (36.0%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 303 (24.24%) males constitute 168 (13.44%) of the population and females 135 (10.80%).

The workforce is 283 male, 241 female with 453 (86.45%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 261 males and 192 females. 128 males and 4 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 4 male and 177 female agricultural labor. 71 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Bandikui and Dausa to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
