Todi is a small village of 1167 hectares in Udaipurwati Tehsil in Jhunjhunu district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Todi depends on UDAIPURWATI, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Todi is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Todi's pin code is 333022[4], and village code is 00749200. The area of Todi is segregated as 310 hectares irrigated area, 724 hectares unirrigated, the 1 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 132 hectare area not available for cultivation.

The village is connected with a single bus service. Todi has One bank and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Todi is a census village in the district of Jhunjhunu, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 6816 and has total administration over 1218 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Todi has 877 children, 500 boys and 377 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 1714 (25.15%) males constitute 901 (13.22%) of the population and females 813 (11.93%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 234 (3.43%) males constitute 114 (1.67%) of the population and females 120 (1.76%).

The workforce is 1616 male, 660 female with 1843 (80.98%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 1504 males and 339 females. 314 males and 160 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 94 male and 27 female agricultural labor. 433 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of UDAIPURWATI and Jhunjhunu to sell ghee and make their living.
