Tosina is a small village of 1872 hectares in Didwana Tehsil in Nagaur district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Tosina depends on Didwana, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 538.04% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Tosina is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Tosina's pin code is 341303[4], and village code is 01780400. The area of Tosina is segregated as 538.04 hectares irrigated area, 1211.4 hectares unirrigated, the 5.94 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 116.26 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Tosina has One post office (Didwana H.O) and Forty public telephones. The village is connected with a single bus service. Tosina has One bank and One credit society for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Tosina is a census village in the district of Nagaur, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 4662 and has total administration over 835 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Tosina has 712 children, 365 boys and 347 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 2133 (45.75%) males constitute 1112 (23.85%) of the population and females 1021 (21.90%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 5 (0.11%) males constitute 4 (0.09%) of the population and females 1 (0.02%).

According to a census 2011 report, 1828 people of the total population are employed. The workforce is 1173 male, 655 female with 584 (31.95%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 538 males and 46 females. 97 males and 16 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 17 male and 4 female agricultural labor. 1244 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Didwana and Nagaur to sell earthen pots and make their living.
