Turtipura is a small village of 310 hectares in Bayana Tehsil in Bharatpur district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Turtipura depends on Bayana, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, One canal and Two springs. Turtipura is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Turtipura's pin code is 321405[4], and village code is 01083300. The area of Turtipura is segregated as 65 hectares irrigated area, 153 hectares unirrigated, the 34 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 58 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Turtipura has One post office (Turtipura B.O). Turtipura has One bank and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Turtipura is a census village in the district of Bharatpur, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 810 and has total administration over 117 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Turtipura has 159 children, 89 boys and 70 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 284 (35.06%) males constitute 147 (18.15%) of the population and females 137 (16.91%).

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Bayana and Bharatpur to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
