Umarlai Khalsa is a small village of 3605 hectares in Pachpadra Tehsil in Barmer district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Umarlai Khalsa depends on BALOTRA, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Umarlai Khalsa is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Umarlai Khalsa's pin code is 344027[4], and village code is 02149300. The area of Umarlai Khalsa is segregated as 3235.31 hectares unirrigated, the 266.76 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 103.27 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Umarlai Khalsa has One post office (Umarlai B.O). The village is connected with a single bus service. Umarlai Khalsa has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

Umarlai Khalsa is a census village in the district of Barmer, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 2307 and has total administration over 409 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Scheduled caste counts for 307 (13.31%) males constitute 155 (6.72%) of the population and females 152 (6.59%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 241 (10.45%) males constitute 121 (5.24%) of the population and females 120 (5.20%).

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of BALOTRA and Barmer to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
