Born in Sialkot, Aalam started stage acting in Islamabad in 2012, where he continued working until 2017. His major plays include "Siachen" by Anwar Maqsood and "Bananistan" by kopykats production.[4]
He has been a television and film actor since 2018. His projects include Khaas, Pehli Si Muhabbat, Shehnai,Raqs-e-Bismil, Berukhi, Nehar, Darrar, and Carma – The Movie.[5] Aalam won Pakistani reality show Tamasha in 2022.[6][7][8] He also co-hosted a Ramazan game show, Khel Kay Jeet, for Express Entertainment in 2023.[9][10]
