United Investors

United investors is one of the biggest ^[1] venture syndicates for Russian-speaking angels, VCs and entrepreneurs.

Since 2019, about 600 people from worldwide have joined the syndicate. Permanent residence in the United Investors have 150+ ^[1] members. The investment focus is Deeptech, Fintech, Foodtech, AI and machine learning companies, EdTech, e-commerce, and every internet-driven business with the potential to be the first company in the markets from $10 Billions. Members in the United Investors are business angels and C-level from the private and corporate VCs. Every year the United Investors team collects and researches about 2000+ projects and presents the best project every day for the members.

Founders of the United Investors:

Alexander Gorniy - was CIO in the Mail Group ^[2]. Mail.ru's sites reach approximately 86% of Russian Internet users on a monthly basis and the company is in the top 5 of largest Internet companies, based on the number of total pages viewed. Mail.ru controls and operates the 3 largest and most popular Russian social networking sites ^[3], VKontakte, Odnoklassniki, and Moi Mir.

Alexander led the largest Mail Group M&A deals: CityMobil, Delivery club.

Arkadiy Moreynis - founded and grew Price.ru from zero to exit ^[4]. Held the position of CTO in Rambler (the main competitors of Yandex and Mail.ru at the Russian market). Since 2010 he has been investing as a business angel. He also built the first Russian startup studio named Glavstart. Arkadiy invested in the Podorozhniky company which was acquired by BlaBlaCar^[5].

Alexey Chernyak - founded and grew Darbery, which was acquired by Groupon. Held the position of CEO in Groupon Russia ^[6].

In the 2019 and 2020 years in the United Investors syndicate were 40+ deals. Some of them are public, for example, Sutiy Office ^[7], Eathit ^[8], Mozgokachka, Russian Bears, Mnogo Lososya, Capsula, IMIN, Prognoz.me, Smalley, Altair VR, Best Doctor.
