Upsali is a small village of 897 hectares in Aklera Tehsil in Jhalawar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Upsali depends on Aklera, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Upsali is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Upsali's pin code is 326039[4], and village code is 04051600. The area of Upsali is segregated as 39.19 hectares irrigated area, 29.98 hectares unirrigated, the 46.66 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 5.37 hectare area not available for cultivation.

The village is connected with a single bus service. Upsali has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Upsali is a census village in the district of Jhalawar, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 577 and has total administration over 119 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Upsali has 134 children, 65 boys and 69 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 23 (3.99%) males constitute 9 (1.56%) of the population and females 14 (2.43%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 554 (96.01%) males constitute 270 (46.79%) of the population and females 284 (49.22%).

The workforce is 152 male, 167 female with 242 (75.86%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 120 males and 122 females. 68 males and 76 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 41 male and 43 female agricultural labor. 77 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Aklera and Jhalawar to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
