Vasooni is a small village of 1124 hectares in Kushalgarh Tehsil in Banswara district, also known as City of Hundred Islands in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Vasooni depends on Kushalgarh, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 37.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Vasooni is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Vasooni's pin code is 327801[4], and village code is 03515300. The area of Vasooni is segregated as 119 hectares irrigated area, 268 hectares unirrigated, the 70 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 104 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Vasooni is a census village in the district of Banswara, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 2457 and has total administration over 476 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

- Scheduled tribe counts for 2454 (99.88%) males constitute 1241 (50.51%) of the population and females 1213 (49.37%).

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Kushalgarh and Banswara to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
