Vatera is a small village of 2047 hectares in Pindwara Tehsil in Sirohi district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Vatera depends on ABU ROAD, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 47.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, One canal and Two springs. Vatera is also surrounded by Two lakes. They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of ABU ROAD and Sirohi to sell bricks and make their living.
