Vayad is a small village of 2867 hectares in Rohat Tehsil in Pali district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Vayad depends on Pali, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Vayad is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Vayad's pin code is 306421[4], and village code is 02425500. The area of Vayad is segregated as 2000.77 hectares unirrigated, the 60 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 806 hectare area not available for cultivation.
Vayad has One post office (Bayad B.O) and One public telephone. The village is connected with a single bus service. Vayad has One bank, One credit society and One agricultural credit society for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

Vayad is a census village in the district of Pali, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 2870 and has total administration over 498 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

- Scheduled caste counts for 705 (24.56%) males constitute 365 (12.72%) of the population and females 340 (11.85%).

The workforce is 763 male, 459 female with 857 (70.13%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 617 males and 240 females. 254 males and 157 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 133 male and 69 female agricultural labor. 365 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.
They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Pali to sell furniture and make their living.
