Vishala is a small village of 182 hectares in Mahwa Tehsil in Dausa district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Vishala depends on Mahwa, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 20.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Vishala is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Vishala's pin code is 321608[4], and village code is 01368900. The area of Vishala is segregated as 43 hectares irrigated area, 92 hectares unirrigated, the 25 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 22 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Vishala has One post office (Vishala B.O) and Four public telephones. Vishala has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Vishala is a census village in the district of Dausa, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1084 and has total administration over 212 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Vishala has 159 children, 79 boys and 80 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 366 (33.76%) males constitute 195 (17.99%) of the population and females 171 (15.77%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 178 (16.42%) males constitute 95 (8.76%) of the population and females 83 (7.66%).

Employment[edit]

The workforce is 258 male, 102 female with 320 (88.89%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 253 males and 67 females. 129 males and 47 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 67 male and 11 female agricultural labor. 40 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Mahwa and Dausa to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
