Vishala is a small village of 1583 hectares in Sayla Tehsil in Jalor district, also known as Granite City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Vishala depends on BHINMAL, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, Two Wells supply, which is 32.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Vishala is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tubewell. Vishala's pin code is 343032[4], and village code is 02275100. The area of Vishala is segregated as 302 hectares irrigated area, 833 hectares unirrigated, the 380 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 68 hectare area not available for cultivation.
Vishala has One post office (Detakalan B.O) and One public telephone. The village is connected with a single bus service. Vishala has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

Vishala is a census village in the district of Jalor, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 3253 and has total administration over 498 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.
- Vishala has 622 children, 358 boys and 264 girls.
- Scheduled caste counts for 392 (12.05%) males constitute 210 (6.46%) of the population and females 182 (5.59%).
- Scheduled tribe counts for 601 (18.48%) males constitute 336 (10.33%) of the population and females 265 (8.15%).

Employment[edit]
According to a census 2011 report, 1879 people of the total population are employed. The workforce is 943 male, 936 female with 1355 (72.11%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 829 males and 526 females. 602 males and 400 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 113 male and 98 female agricultural labor. 524 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.
They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of BHINMAL and Jalor to sell earthen pot and make their living.
